Stacy Desmond

Billing & Office Manager

Stacy has been working at Sunshine Family Healthcare since Dr. Flanagan began her practice in Canby in 2014. She remembers when a busy week was 10 patients.  She has worked hard to learn and grow as the practice expands. In 2021, she completed a medical billing program and is officially our in-house biller. She is the person working on your behalf to make sure insurance pays its part of the bill. In her free time she likes to play with her children, and go to the river to watch the water slip by.

Lynni Wart

Office & Special Project Coordinator

Before joining Sunshine Family Healthcare, Lynni filled her days taking care of her 3 children and helping her husband remodel their house. She began working at SFH in August 2018 and instantly felt at home. You’ll find her at the front desk helping our patients with checkin / checkout / scheduling and working to complete special projects for our patients and doctors.

Her favorite things: her family, hosting BBQs on summer nights, listening to her favorite playlist on repeat on Spotify, creating art and baking

Marge Stevens
(aka Grandma Margie)

Financial & Special Project Manager

Marge likes working behind the scenes with her calculator and green eye shade, keeping the books in order. Helping with payroll, taxes and filing insurance claims are some of the ways she contributes to the back office support for Sunshine Family Healthcare. Retired from OSU where she oversaw grants and contracts for Extension Sea Grant, Marge now volunteers in her community for environmental and social justice organizations. She is thrilled to help advance the practice of Naturopathic Medicine and the healthy outcomes which Sunshine Family Healthcare promotes.

Emily Porter

Medical Assistant & Supply Coordinator

Emily’s biggest job in life is being a wife and mom. When she’s not chasing her energetic toddler around, she’s studying to become a midwife under Dr. Flanagan, working as a doula, and supporting the staff in the office at Sunshine Family Healthcare. Emily received her Bachelor’s in Social Science with focuses in Psychology and Child and Family Studies from Portland State University, and spent subsequent years working in the local social work/advocacy field. She has since undergone training in phlebotomy and IV administration as well as other midwifery related trainings. She loves to read, garden, play music, and learn about regenerative agriculture.
