She is an expert in therapeutic nutrition and was formerly a nutritionist before attending medical school. She uses nutrition as a cornerstone in the treatment of conditions such as high cholesterol, irritable bowel syndrome, menopausal weight gain, and PCOS.

Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Fix brings warm Midwest hospitality to her patient care. In her free time, she enjoys eating Thai curry, working on home projects, surfing the Oregon coast, biking down dusty trails with her dog (an Aussie named Otto), and cruising down the ski slopes of Mt Hood.
